Summary

Mucormycosis is a rare and life threatening fungal infection in children that occurs in association with immunocompromised states. Very few case reports of rhino-orbital mucormycosis have been documented in pediatric age group and most of these have been fatal. We report a case of mucormycosis in a child with renal disease who was managed with lipid complex amphotericin B coupled with surgical debridement.
